Sunday 7th December, Brunswick, Hove
Om-Rock Promotions Presents … Gregg McKella’s ‘Songs from the Underground’ album launch gig! with special guest Jeanette Murphy

It has been a long, long time coming but we are thrilled that Gregg McKella is able to launch his solo album at the wonderfully intimate Brunswick venue and we will be supporting Gregg and Om-Rock Promotions in running this very special night!
“Songs from the Underground” is due to be released on Friday 5th December and brings together songs written during his busking years in the 1990s. The songs vary from folksy driven to alternative indie rock, psyche blues/neo-folk, which Gregg has dubbed “space-folk”. The album was recorded and produced by Martin Litmus, who also plays bass, keyboards, synths, mellotron, guitars and drums/percussion, with Gregg on vocals, guitars, glissando guitar, clarinet and synths.

Guesting contributors on the album are familiar RMC faces Nick Pynn on violins, Jeanette Murphy on BVs, Tyrone Thomas on lead and slide guitars, Wayne Collyer percussion, Eugene McClouskey on violins and Cary Grace on keys/synths. This gig will be the official CD launch gig, with Gregg and guests performing the songs from the album. Jeanette will also play an opening a set of her own songs. Rest assured, the gig will finish slightly earlier to allow folks to get home on a school night!
